Haze PSI 130
The hot topic, no pun intended.
This is akin to the Cosine graph. Some days you get a clear skyline along the CBD area while other days, you simply get the feeling that you're on Genting Highlands minus the cool weather.
Hiding in air-con rooms has never felt any better, even if it means to be seated along the corridors outside the seminar rooms of SMU....AS LONG as I'm sheltered from the creepy crawlers of hot smoke. You know what? They travelled all the way from Indonesian. No joke. Not vis-a-vis Jetstar, Tiger Airways nor S.I.A.
What their motive of visiting us? Hmm...good thing they came only after Singapore showcased herself to the world. (Well, that's another story to tell but I don't want to get sued for no reason.)
They are like clouds coloured with a nice snowy feeling but carry in them this element that is measured as subject '130'. I can almost see them surrounding me as someone walks pass the glass door, causing the automatic sensor door to open by itself with no beings coming through it except for the wonderful uninvited snow white friend from Indonesian.
They came because the wind decided to blow in this direction. Oh...how I wish superman's here to save us from the tyranny of what we cannot even touch. Even Singapore is under the mercy of nature.
You are not an exception.
Our sins are like the haze...so irritatable.
Anyway, here's something to chew upon. Even though I'm hidden in the rooms and corridors of SMU..... take a good read at this:

We're dying..
"During a smoke haze, the fine particulates enter an air-conditioned building through the fresh air intake and by infiltration through openings and gaps. The particulate levels indoor can thus build up to unacceptable levels. This could have undesirable health effect on the occupants of the building and adversely affect the efficiency of the air-conditioning system."

Here's a graph, on the PSI reading for today.
According to the data, the normal distribution of the PSI readings are not consistent. However, we can derive a trend. They are here mostly in the afternoons. In the morning, they take a backseat in the killings as many are asleep. The cruelty of the snow white smoke stretches from Tuas all the way to Changi. We are under the attacks of what we cannot fight against. We need superman.

And how I wish that can be done. Short and simple, a man to stand in the gap and blow the dusty gases back to its origin.
Don't we all seek that? We offer convenient prayers, give occassional and sometimes reluctant praises to Him who deserves all of it. Short cuts, Instant noodles, 3-in-1 powder and that follows a wide array of convenient items.
You want a short cut? The shortest distance you want to take is less than 1m. Your knees to the ground. Dry eyes to wet ones. It just doesn't make sense to be crying out when you don't actually cry out.
Ok, enough. I'm tired of sloppy inputs that generate nothing less than sloppy outputs. Sloppy outputs get thrown away when it cannot withstand the heat of God's fire. 500. That's the number of the month.
